Okay, so I went into the quarentined(sp?) house and cleaned the place out. I used all 3 potions on the table (blue,yellow, and I think the other was white) and went down in the basement and read the book about Emu Eartes Seus. Then, I went outside and ran into an Imp asking me to get him the Emu Eartes Seus potion from out of the house. Well, there are no potions left in there only a few " chemist herbs " but thats it. Could someone please tell me what I am missing here? Thanks a bunch. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

In the alchemist's cellar, there were 2 sets of potions. Combine 1 from each pair (twice) to create the potion the imp asked for.

I have another question, this might sound dumb, but what does it mean when the words " itm aquired " flash across the screen? Did the Imp give me something?
Also, I was wondering if anyone was having a problem with the game where when I go to enter the battle feild the game freezes and crashes. I'm aware that it's a glitch, but is anyone else haveing this problem?

IIRC, this imp (Emu Eartes...) gave you 2 speed potions.

Generally new items are stuck in the top left area of your inventory, so if you keep that area clear, you can usually tell what item you received. Sometimes an NPC will give you a hint, and say something like 'take this amulet'.

How long did you leave the game entering the BF? All the dungeons are randomly generated the first time you enter, so this can take awhile.

i came upon a similiar problem but it turned out to be none at all. When i clicked on the To Enter BF command, it did its thing but got stuck in the middle of the bar (------- ) while loading. I was about to alt+f4 it but as Raze mentioned just an entry above mine, the BF's are randomly generated and while mine took a lengthy period of time to load; no such glitch occured. All should be well and as in this day and age hardly anyone is patient, when it comes to PC games, patience is definitly a virtue.

I let it go for about an hour or so, because my Devine Divinity game does this all the time. Then after waiting, I hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete and Task manager came up and said program was not responding. So I closed down program, restarted my PC and tryed again. Again it froze after a long time of waiting. So I tried going a bit further with the game, but I had the same problem. So I figured, maybe it's a bad file, so I uninstalled the game then reinstalled it. Still no BF and freezing. So now I'm hopeing that maybe I'll find another key ( BTW it BF 3 I'm tring to get into)

The key from the prison is actually the level 1 BF key. Did you cross the lava yourself, and enter the imp village? That may cause problems. After freeing the 2 imps from the prison, did you try leaving the village and get summoned by a necromancer? If you try leaving the village by entering the BF for the first time that act, it takes a lot longer than normal (though still shouldn't be an hour). If that is the case, try walking out of the village to be summoned, and then enter the BF.
