I am in the basement but I can not find the general, please help.

You can't find Gen Bram because he's not there! LOL In fact, there is no reason for you to be looking for him. I think what you're looking for is a book for a quest, right? There is no General Bram (at least not in that section). If you wore the disguise (citadel armor), his ghosts will attack you while you're in the basement (when you take the book). Otherwise, they appear but leave you alone.

Are you in Act 1? Citadel level? Got the quest to steal a book? You can't find Bram in persona, you can only find his rooms. They are one level higher. Do you wish a map?

this is a map of the last Citadel level. Bram's locked quarters are at 9 - but you need to convince guard Kegan at 8 to drop the key. Are you in this level? Or one deeper? Or did you already access Bram's rooms and entered the secret hatch behind the door blocked with packages?

I killed Kegan and got the key,I am at level 10 andno one asked me to still the book.
