Probably because I've got a lot of D&D experience, I'm one of those folks who finds tactical mode pretty easy. And, the story and many of the events have a natural urgency -- it doesn't feel right to sleep all of the time when there's this crisis going on. I got the whole first act kind of messed up by not sleeping enough, and later missed Shadowheart's big scene completely somehow. The Nightsinger (act 3) quest got bugged too. Now, I'm in act 3, and there's other "better act now!" story bits which I suspect actually mean "sleep to move forward".
I would really appreciate an indicator on the camp menu which hints that one or more nighttime events is waiting to trigger.
Additionally, while I know one can do "partial rest", I'd really like a "schedule meeting" button while IN camp, Sure, many of the events make sense only at night, but plenty are "I'll talk to you in camp." Why must I wait for evening for those talks (and other scenes) to happen?
I don't think it's too dramatic to say that this is currently my main frustration with the game as it is right now. Sure, there are other annoyances, but this really messes with the flow of the story for me, and makes it feel like I'm struggling against a computer game rather than playing out a narrative. (Like the classic text adventure where you had to guess exactly which words to type!)
