hi there,
since few days i have realy long loading when i first launch the game, i have the GOG version.
no idea why, ingame loadings are very fast.
any tricks i could try ?
it takes sometimes up to 3-4 minutes, few days ago it was like 20s max.

maybe the processing of the vulkan stuff.
Needed about 10minutes on my ThreadRipper-1950X with all 32Cores at full speed.

Seems to be a common issue. Typical recommendations (here) include switching to Vulkan and / or disabling GOG Galaxy in-game overlay.

Considering that it's unclear whether GOG or Larian are to blame, I suspect there's no point expecting fix any time soon.

Larian are to blame and its a network issue but Gog is being lazy too because they could easly [at least] explain whats happening to people

so after all switching to vulkan fixed the problem, i was always on directx, by the way how to deactivate the gog overlay ?
