I finished the game in a unhealthy week of gameplay. Even if performance in act3 was not as good due more demanding hardware, was still enjoyable with my old i5-6600K. No major lag problems and when it was noticeable, fixed with a relaunch of the game.

Now, after the hotfix* of Minthara i tried another run and act 3 is just unplayable in my computer. Huge lag in the city, companions move erratically when out of combat, jumps cutting midair, skills lagging in combat(animation, a couple of secons, result of the attack).
I lowered the graphic demands to the minimal but still the same problem. Its a CPU problem from what i saw, and i have no clue what did you change to make it happen but surely you will be able to fix it in next updates.

And yes, i tried to reinstall the game, check for malware in the computer, close everything except the game but still, far worse performance than a couple weeks ago.

Please, fix it.

I get instant CTDs when loading saves in act 2. Did the usual: update graphics card, verify game files, reinstall even, running no background programs, have never played with mods. Still crashes after the Aug 25th update. It’s unplayable. I even found that post where someone said to bypass the Larian Launcher, I did and it still crashes. Pretty pissed.

The engine just can't use more than 50% of CPU/GPU in many areas since 2nd act.

Just logged in back to check a few things. Apparently in all my "random char" gameplays the game runs ok in act 3. It goes crazy bad with the dark urge origin. Quite strange.
