Hey everyone,
Big BG fan here, love the game. Bought a PS5 only for this game since I didn't have a gaming PC. No regrets but I have some suggestions:
- Would love to see an option to use keyboard/mouse on PS5. I want to try the game like it is on PC.
- Switching between party members is really a big hassle and it breaks immersion too. Do people really use the d-pad left and right arrows out of combat? I think that it could be used for switching between party members while not in combat (or maybe in combat as well, I never use them to switch between targets but would like to hear from other players as well)
- Considering the time we spend in the inventory, I can't believe there isn't a shortcut to access it. This is an RPG after all, inventory management should be brought forward. I don't want to go to a menu and then select character sheet to access it. Maybe we can hold R2 to access it quickly? It's very unusual to see a shortcut for the journal but not for the inventory.
- I feel like there could have been more shortcuts as well. Only the X button has an extra option for holding. Switching between melee and ranged, accessing the inventory quickly, accessing the spellbook, the alchemy tab etc. It's sad to see all these unused shortcut opportunities.
If anyone agrees or has more suggestions to make, please let your voice be heard. I'm sure that Larian would have listened to such suggestions if controllers were supported in early access.
