I find it pretty silly that every scrap of paper is (nominally) worth 14 gold. As far as I know, Faerun does not suffer from a devastating lack of toilet paper.

I know I can just ignore them, but it feels so ridiculous.

(And, whole books go for the same price. Do people not realize that they could tear every page from a 300 page book, making that 14gp book into, uh, 4200gp?)

Lmao I never thought about ripping pages from books, with this level of ingenuity you'd be ruling Baldur's Gate in no time!

Does it bother you that you can collect stones, rotten fish and rotten carrots and sell one gold coin apiece? Has anyone tried to sell a corpse yet? To sell weapons to a clothing merchant, of course! Faerun is a world with such a market economy that you can even sell Raphael if you catch him!
