Can we have a post that list all the mod troubleshooting post ?
It would help a lot instead of having another wave of my game broke with last update/hotfix. Send help.
Why did I propose this ?
I did it because like a lot of modder my game broke with the last Hotfix.
Symptom :
As long as I have something in the Modsetting files, I can't create a new campagne (Dark Urge with 8 humans), I have the modsetting file reset to default (random ?).
In an already existing campagne, part of mod that change txt file (spell, passive) are working, part of mod that change XML file (like localization, tooltip, etc) aren't working.
I have reinstalled the game, cleaned the folder in appdata, etc. Install mod manually (editing modsetting), etc.
Conclusion :
I don't know if we will need a mod fixer or if it's a change on Larian side, or both.
I will play without mod while waiting for Larian to work with the modding community to find a way to allow mod to not break after every update/hotfix.
