I want to focus this feedback on companions. They are one of the strongest features of BG3 but many of them have issues or are not compelling in Act 3 (This is a theme BTW)

Halsin: I actually think Halsin has a pretty compelling story... until Act 3. The story beats are there, the quest line is there, but then he just kind of hangs around with nothing to do. I would have like to see a continuation of the Shadow Druid coven quest bleed into Baldurs Gate from Act 1. Maybe we can finally confront the covan and what they tried to do with Kahga or even have her as a briefly returning character.

Potentially, this can even tie into the Hag coven we never got.

Karlach: Giving us an option to fix Karlach with the MANY obvious solutions scattered around Act 3 would not only give her the ending many people want but also make many other endings far more satisfying.

Imagine, for a moment, playing as the Dark Urge who romanced Karlach. You've sacrificed so much to atone for what you did. You fixed Karlach, saved Shadowheart from Shar, helped Wyll rescue his father, lifted the shadowcurse, guided Lae'zel away from Vlakith. Faced Cazadork with Astarion. And as a final act of sacrifice, you became the mind flayer. Now the dust has settled on the dock, your redemption is absolute and you draw a blade, driving it into your stomach, knowing you've given everything but being too tired to continue as what you are. Karlach runs over, in tears, remembering all you've done for the city and for them as you quietly pass away, surrounded by the people you've given everything for.

THAT... Sounds like a much more satisfying and compelling tragic story than whatever ham-fisted tragedy Karlach's story is trying to force on us.THAT sounds like the quintessential tragic ending for BG3. Not "My girlfriend exploded because I didn't even try".

Wyll: I would like to see some kind of way to cure Wyll of being a demon... Let's be honest, that's probably the big reason why a lot of people don't romance him becausecause before he turns into a demon, this dude is a fucking smoke show... And not to "go there" but media in general has a tradition of turning black characters into animals or non-humans for the majority of their screen time.. Tiana comes to mind from the Princess and the Frog.

That aside, I also want him to have more agency with whether or not he sells his soul to save his father. Shadowhearts decision is so good because depending on how you approached her character, she can have full agency and decide what to do with the Nightsong.

Shadowheart: Nothing. Her questline is perfect. The only negative is that other companions aren't given the same treatment.

Lae'Zel: Again, incredible. Compelling, interesting, 10/10. Bring other companions up to her standard.

Astarion: Astarion seems like he's on the CUSP of being up to the standard of Lae'Zel and Shadowheart. But his epilogue needs to be more fleshed. It's REALLY goofy when heThree Stooges run away from the dock and one of the party members is like "Well, we won't be seeing him again ;:D". Very tone deaf but I think Larian knows that.

The 6-month post-campaign party: You GOTTA give us this. Give us one wild night at the Elfsong tavern to catch up to see how everyone is doing. What is Wyll like now that he's free of Mizora. How are Shadowhearts parents or her new life without them? How is the war against Vlaakith going? How are the Shadowlands and the druids grove and Halsin doing? What about Astarion and his new family of 7000 spawn in the underdark? What is Karlach doing with her newfound freedom? Give us Baldur's Gate 3: Citadel.

I actually really like demon Wyll, he looks very warlock-ish. He looks very whatever beforehand, like just your random noble swordsman. The transformation gives him a lot of flavor. I know he will lose power from Mizora, but hopefully when he goes to Avernus with Karlach to kill her, or beforehand, he finds away to absorb demonic powers for himself or cheat her out of them so he can turn them against her in revenge and keep being a blade of avernus as he claims.

How else is he going to be useful? His entire run in our campaign has been as a warlock, being a vanilla rapier duelist just feels bad when you compared him to some juiced up vampire spawn or a githyanki with a silver sword or a hell engine powered barbarian.
