So, my idea is based on very simple logic. Raphael seems like a very powerful NPC-Magicy type of character, being able to suppress communication through the tadpole as well as other more extreme abilities.

Since he can do all that, and given that we are given the choice to side with literally anyone in the game, shouldn't we be able to propose different rewards other than the Orphic Hammer from Raphael?

I'm not talking about INFINITE POWER, or anything like that. Simple roleplaying choices that could also improve romance storylines.

Examples of Crown for X:

- Freeing Wyll from his contract.(might be complicated to do)
- Replacing Karlach's hell engine with a normal heart.
- Giving Shadowheart/Dark Urge their memories back.
- The ability to control the endgame boss without transforming.

These are all, in my opinion, flavorful options that might be worth getting in a hellish contract for.
As a DM, I know for a fact that my players would choose something like that for a better roleplaying experience instead of the options they have in game(which are totally valid and very fun to explore).

I would like to hear what people think about this and whether you would like it's implementation, if possible, into the game down the road.

Thanks for reading!

I thought the same. Also, if he is so interested in getting Tav and the companions to get him the crown, it would make sense for him to have something each one of them desired as a way to tempt them to make a contract with him. The game doesn't portray Orpheus as someone that important to them as they already have the Emperor so why would they risk fighting against a Devil to free him? Yeah, there is the thing about turning into a Mind Flayer, but that could also be fixed as no one really likes that option.

I don't think it would be in character for Raphael to nullify Wylls contract with Mizora, given
his little speech about order and the right way to do things before the bossfight with him
.
But I always wondered, why we couldn't make a deal with him or were tempted to at least to save the people in
the Last Light Inn. He was there, he knew it was dangerous and if we do far did go out of the way to save the tieflings, he could have offered to help us. As seen with Mol, he has the power to magic people away to BG unharmed.
That is of course only for a good player, for an evil one maybe more power or help
getting rid of Thorm, since it is likely, the Harper's are dead and Aylin too in that case
