First of all.. awesome game!

It's so.. Baldur's Gate meets Diablo.

Q: Where is the terrible graphics that I kept seeing in all the screenshots of the reviews of this game? The graphics are pretty good.

I haven't touched yet, I hope the inventory system is reworked. Yikes. A scrollbar in the dialog, yet it didn't scroll. No button to auto-organize the inventory.

Don't get me wrong, being able to have varied sizes of items is cool.. but man was it a pain. And the NPC's that wanted to take my stuff cuz I might kill their king. That was a pain too. They re-organized my stuff!

* regenerate health. Your character should have SOME ability to regenerate without the skill.

* sleep. A sleeping bag or some such item would have been nice.

* character editor. Some means of editing the savegame/characters would have been helpful. Especially when I misplace an item. Obviously some players figured out how to hex edit games.. had you guys released a file format, we could have written an editor for ourselves

* multiple tiers within a level. I like being able to just run shotgun through a level, if need be. The multiple elevations in some of the areas (dark forest especially) drove me nuts. Having to walk all the way around them. Ugh. And with SO much ground to cover.. we couldn't have a gold cart? (ok, a horse.. but still!)

I don't care if the scorpions were over powering. I loved setting a couple loose and sitting back and soaking in the experience. Or letting them take notice off me so I could just nuke nuke nuke.

The end of the game was funny. I released about 8 of the things. I backed out of the room to heal myself and put up a shield... bam. The screen went black. I thought.. holy crap, the game crashed.

Nope. The scorpion's toasted the end guy.

Spoiler : Hey, it wasn't MY bloody idea to carry that kid out at the end. I was tricked!

Thanks, Larian, I enjoyed it. And I still have to look forward to! (I have some books to read and work to do before I play a game for 4 days straight again)

It's a shame there are idiots for reviewers.. this game should have really been alot more of a winner than the reviewers gave it. Maybe I just read the wrong reviews..

* mana regeneration. Was this a skill? I don't recall seeing it. Granted I always had potions, I never ran out. Of course this vaguely had something to do with carrying a bed with me to rest and using conjured creatures to help me.

* key ring. Ugh. With the inventory the way it is.. a keyring would have been AWESOME. I had enough keys, if I had had a slingshot, I could have used them for ammo.

* weight. The whole weight thing was buggered. I could have 2100/3000 and STILL be encumbered?! I didn't get it. It wasn't until I showed 3000/3000 that the character refused to carry any more. THAT made sense. Gold apparently had weight.. it would have been nice to have a coin purse (lower weight of gold) and backpacks that made items lighter.

There is a portable bed in a house near the cursed abbey, or you can combine two piles of straw in your inventory to make a hay bed.

The inventory in BD is larger and has a working scroll bar, but there is no auto-arrange function.

That's why i mentioned the sleeping bag. I had the bed in my inventory.. it was 60% of the inventory! It just obscured it so I had to move it to see what I have.

Some people put the bed in a container (the thieves' guild book), so it wouldn't take up so much room in their main inventory.

Do you know of any other zero weight, or near zero weight containers? I love the book, but can't find anything else like it.

I use 100 pound flour sacks, for more organization.

Unfortunately, the grain/flour sacks are the next lightest container at 100. There are a couple chests which weigh 200, and an elven cupboard in Lanilor's house which weighs 300, but most chests and barrels weigh 400-600.

I even tried some of the vases and urns (quite a few in the Catacombs).

Weird thing about those, they way around 200-300 too. Must be some really dense clay!
