Yeah and holland had 2 unfair goals. one was a swalbe and the other one was offside. It's sad day for football when Holland gets pass the 1st round <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

I will actually concede that the first two goals were dodgy, though that doesn't mean they didn't deserve to win. And I think most unbiased football fans will be quite content to see the Netherlands go through, considering most people find their offensive style of football appealing.

Which, I may add, cannot be said for the Belgian team. I remember a certain game during the World Championship in France, between the Red Devils and our friends in orange, after which Pele said that Belgium should be ashamed of their extremely defensive play.

Which just goes to show it's all a matter of perception.
