Guys,

I have over 90 hours of gameplay in so far, but over the past 48 hours, I have crashed 50+ times while trying to do multiple things (join my own game, join friends game, teleporting somewhere while in my friends game or my game, etc). This crash always happens when I am in the load screen. Most of the time is happens when its at 60% but has also failed at 40%, 80% and 100% before also.

Is this a known thing? Does Larian know? Will this get fixed in next patch? All of my games with my friends (3 different adventures) are now all on hold because I am unable to play. Someone please give me some good news.

Side note on what I have tried to do so far...
1. Redownload game
2. Put game on different SSD
3. Neither worked.

Update… still unplayable. I’ve tried everything including rebuilding my ps5 database. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts?

Another morning I wake up, another day of not being able to play a game I own and have played for 83 hours. Why does it keep crashing?

Going on four days now with no luck playing the game. Crash after crash after crash…

Same here. Can’t load any saves, can’t start new game, nothing. Any news?

Ps5 can’t join. Error on our side. Any fix?

Can't load any saves or start new game on PS5. "Error joining failed: something went wrong on our end; please try again" then game crashes. Some saying can disconnect PS5 from internet as a workaround.

I am now on day 5 of being unable to ply the one game I want to play. I submitted a ticket 5 days ago and haven’t heard anything from Larian Studios either. It would be nice if there were someone within the company that could provide some feedback for a paying customer who is unable to play their product.

We had this issue once and what worked for us was to disconnect the second controller and re open the game on single player. The 2nd player then connects when the game has successfully loaded.

I can’t play in single player or online coop. I don’t personally play couch coop split screen in this game as I have a handful of friends to play with over the internet. But that said, not being able to play solo (online or offline) and not being able to play online coop is incredibly frustrating.

Sounds like my bug, have you tried disconnecting from the internet? that worked for me as a workaround, but single player though.

Same for me. Beautiful game ruined by crashes. At this point, it's unplayable online or off.

Any word from Larian about a patch?

We are now up to day 6 of not being able to play this amazing game. I really wish Larian would at least acknowledge this problem and let us know they’re working on solution. I really hope this is fixed in Thursday’s patch.

I have this for one of my playthroughs, and one of my playthroughs is now saying its corrupted. My two remaining playthroughs are ok though...

Mine are for brand new games, existing games, random mp games I join, etc…

I submitted multiple tickets - no repsone. I assume they are in full rush to release mac/xbox/switch/linux or whatever platform has paying customers version. Too much hype around bugged game and too much greed becuase of unexpected success. Get ready for enchanced fixed version in 2025.

I still am unable to play. Haven’t been able to since before September 7th…
