Same here, really need some support to find out the problem. Is it the PS5 device problem or game problem? I can't know cause no one reply my email......really frustrated.

You are not the only one…me and my brother were playing on multiplayer and now we can’t…we live across the US from each other and this was a way for us to hang out still and have fun…they need to fix this NOW!!! I didn’t pay 80 bucks for a broken game…

I am on day 20 now without the ability to play the game solo, coop, online or offline. I love your games Larian Studios. Please fix this, or at least acknowledge the problem.

i have a similar issue. suddenly crashing over 20 times during various things. tried verifying etc. am on pc though not ps. wonder if it's the new patch. unfortunately larian support took a month to reply to a ticket i had opened before, so i don't have much hope of getting support through there.

An update after todays patch. I still crash. I guess I am officially screwed. Very sad as DoS 1&2 are two of my favorite games of all time.

You might want to try doing a full factory reset on the PS5, this sounds like a console problem at this point

@Stevenvfx … I already did every step I could do on PS5 … nothing else I can do with the console. Every other game plays. Beat FF16 and halfway through R&C: Rift Apart since the day this happened.

I haven’t been having this problem on PS5 but my best friend is also playing on PS5 and she gets 3-5 every few hours. We can’t figure out what the difference between our consoles/games are?

Hope this gets fixed fast. We had a month of unplayable co op split screen lag on PS5 that this recent patch actually fixed. Unfortunately they did it completely silently and never acknowledged the problem w the community.

Aye. After 165 hours and updating latest version I'm now told my Save is corrupt and not to use it.

The game has crashed too many times on the PS5, including yesterday when I was close to killing Cazador, now have to do it again.

I am on PS5 and no crashing at all. Have you tried to change your ps5 graphics settings? I dont remember their name but I mean those of your ps5, not bg3 settings?

They seem to have fixed the crashing issue I was having when changing realms. I have actually been able to save and move forward in act 2. Hopefully fixes are coming soon for the other issues.

Unfortunately for as great as the game is it's still got tons of bugs and crashes etc, really hope they can patch through all this

@Madetosuffer41 they “seemed to have fixed the crashing issue” for others, maybe. But I can tell you and Larian for a certain, it is not fixed for me. Since September 7th, I have been unable to play due to crashes during load screens. It isn’t my ps5 as I have played FF16 and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart from start to finish during this last month.

I have done literally everything. Played the game for 83 hours then one day it started crashing. I have since even gotten to the point where I factory reset my ps5 and only had BG3 on there to try and get it to work.

Same for me, crashes whenever I try to load the game, or sometimes it loads, but then I can't save (error code 558). In addition, the fog of war always resets itself whenever I transit between zones or go to camp.

Same for me. I have deactivated my Internet connection, it doesn‘t help. The game crashes ingame sometimes Every 2 minutes, i get error code ce-108255-1…
In this state it‘s unplayable..
