Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks What is the usefullness of "rope" ?

Do ropes provide any use beside taking up space in my inventory ?
I'm in Act 2, I just drop any ropes I get, as I don't see any merchants that will buy them from me.

(I saw a post in another thread where Lucretia posts "take ropes if you find them" , so I was wondering)

Only usefull prior of going to Fergus so you can safely let them be.

any plot needed ropes will be provided as necessary. to my knowledge there is only one more in act 4, and that one is basically automatically dropped through the hole once you get to the other side by taking and alternate route, initially.
