First and foremost this is going to be a straight-up rant. And I placed it here because it is feedback back to the community. And let's be honest you're not going to like what I have to say because nobody likes to hear the truth. Now the mods want to move this somewhere else so be it but honestly didn't know where to put it cuz I didn't see anything that was considered off-topic again that's why I posted it here.
Never in my 52 years of Gaming, have I ever seen so many entitled gamers in one place. I know this is where I'm going to sound like you know an older gamer because I am an older gamer I know I sound like your dad or whatever but you should be lucky to have games of this caliber. Back when I was game we were lucky we could name a character a name we wanted you know after ourselves we thought that was cool. We thought it was innovative when a game contained a battery you know where you could save your progression file like in Mega Man or Zelda we thought that was revolutionary.
Can I honestly feel sorry for Larry and Studios because they put their heart and soul into this game and it's still not enough for you people. Oh, I see people all they do is just winch and complain about what this game doesn't have.
Let me tell you something I've played every role-playing game out there imaginable. And no pun intended this thing changes the game. You know in the past I figured games like The Witcher 3 were not very groundbreaking game. Or future Legend of Zelda games.
I mean this game is just I still can't believe something like this exists. You know what I find to be the most outstanding part about this game is the way the NPCs react to the way you talk to them and the fact that choices for the first time in a game ever actually matter.
You know I would tell you to tell you to be sorry for your attitude but facing you don't want to be sorry all you want to do is complain and complain and complain and complain and complain. Have you ever taken the time to thank Larry for the amazing game they made? No. And why is that, it's because you are super entitled. You think because you paid your $60 for this game you think layering this beholden to you to give you everything you want. Personally, the only thing I want in this game is to finally change my character in game mid-look, I don't care about photo mode I don't care about anything else honestly because there's nothing to do with the actual game okay Oh no I can't take a photo I can't show off online I need the approval of others.
I'm also mad at Larian because they are not prioritizing things that I feel need to be prioritized. As the aforementioned ability to change my character mid-looks in the game because I am sick and tired of having to restart the game over and over and over and over and over again. Believe me, it gets old and it gets old fast.
Health Starfield a Bethesda game already has disability implemented in the base game cyberpunk has this in the game it took him a while but they finally implemented it in this game. I know they say they're working on it you know how about a time frame I don't understand why this is taking so long to implement. They had no problem implementing the ability to put your friends in storage why can they not implement this why is this so difficult?
And yes I am speaking out of frustration here, I mean I know for a fact that they run their Larry machine 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and 365 days a year so why is this taking forever to implement I guarantee the patch on Friday is not going to give us the ability to change our character it looks because it's not on their priority and it should be it should have been number one priority.
You know the priority should go bugs first crashes then the ability to change your character then a stupid photo mode and then everything after that.
I can't speak for others but for me, it's a game-breaking and off-putting thing. And it needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed now and until it's fixed I'm not touching this game I'm not one of those entitled people who say I'm not going to play a game anymore and I turn around and play it when I don't play a game I don't play a game. Case point I haven't touched the Cyberpunk 2077 launch what does that tell you?
