I suspect this is because the varying jump distances. I suggest that when out of combat, you allow characters to jump as if they have 18 strength.

I don’t know. In my playthrough Karlach was the one to often get stuck behind, and she was by far the one with the longest jump.

Had the same experience, I was grumbling about it in the movement mega-thread. For me it was Gale at first and I he was absolutely infuriating. Like 'dammit Gale, stop footdraggin. But then it happened with Lae'zel so something must have been off. They were both Misty stepping at least, but yeah something with the jump.

When things break after a fix, has me thinking they must be working on something for it. Maybe they'll get the jump going again. Remember in EA when US couldn't auto jump heheh.

Not quite on that level, but yeah noticed it too. Maybe they're squahsing that one too.

Yea, you're right. Man it's frustrating.

I think it's pathing, rather than stat based. I've also had Karlach, too, (and my Monk main) get stuck more often than Gale.

But I've also found an easy fix. Hit the Ungroup/Group key (G) twice. This shakes them up and they retry their path. Usually, they'll jump correctly to catch up after doing this once.

Still, if you have your group partially ungrouped, then it's pretty annoying. If you've made a second jump beofre, they also probably won't figure out how to path to you either.

Happens to me all the time as well.

I just press G twice quickly whenever it happens and it "reactivates" their AI brains to continue following.

Unreal! G twice!!!

Thank you sir! That will save me a lot of grief in the Monastery where it kept happening over and over!

ps. boom! where Astarion had finally joined the initiative! hehe. I legit had thrown a fireball to the knees with my sorceress cause the targeting went haywire and had me turn around climb the ladder and then launch the fireball at the floor. Hopefully Gale will fair better this run. That was the save from over the last weekend which was miserable. Lae'zel managed to keep everything together like she always does, but it was just too much at the time.

pps. I had to dig up your old jump thread to find that image of the double "cant' reach/can't get there" then just played around in GIMP for an hour to decompress heheh

That’s a neat trick to know, thanks.
