If you accidentally use 2 Umbral Gems on the first Pedestal in will take both from your inventory, preventing you from using the 3 Gems required for the next pedestal.

For anyone else having this issue but want to continue playing, the current Item ID for the umbral gem was: fd3fd8a9-a5fc-4726-9b6e-77f5ecf54cea . Or use some item inspector to get the ID of any gem in your inventory yourself to duplicate it.
