Why is it that Uncanny Dodge needs to be toggled on and off beforehand in Passive, while other reactions are just in Reaction, and have window pop-up when they can be triggered?

@OP - Yeah, that sounds inconsistent. Should just be under 'reactions' since that's what it is.

As to why you wouldn't always dodge - you only get 1 reaction per turn and you could also elect to cast shield, say, and avoid being hit at all (better than halving damage).

You might be expecting a heavier hit later in the turn, so you don't want to waste it on every hit that lands.

I haven't used rogue, so let me express my surprise that it is handled through the awful Passive system. We all moved on from it by now, no?
