For some reason I can not find the BF 5 key, i've looked everywhere I can think of.

I am also unable to do the seeing stone quests and the sword quests. I have tried putting the items out of my inventory in several different combinations, and also doing that out side of the merchants shop but he won't give me the option to make the sword. Also, the quests are not appearing in my quest book for both of them. I completed the amulet quest for the merchant but told the truth to the ghost so the amulet killed him, and the quest did not leave my quest book even though he is dead.

Any Ideas?

as far as i can tell, there is no bf dungeon5 key.
i found 6 keys, but i had two bf dungeon4 (i think) and no 5.
...so just realize that when you get bf dungeon6 you can complete both dungeons 5 and 6.

not really sure what you're asking in regard to the seeing stone and sword quests. i don't want to give too much away before i understand what you actually have (in inventory) and what you've tried.
...so, could you be a bit more speciific in your question(s) please (i just hate telling anyone what to do when all they need is a hint).

Well,

I have the ore, and I have the gem. I went to the rebel raanar camp and got the quest then went back to the smith but he won't make the sword. I made sure it was the right smith, by the barracks.

Also I have the mirror and I put it in the temple enterance and then went to it and "broke" it but it won't let me finish the quest. Also both of the quests do not appear in my quest log.

sounds like you're doing it all right...
with the mirror, perhaps try dropping at another place? (i did the talking crystal). and then you made sure to walk back to the seeing stone and 'look' again?

with the smith, did he actually tell you you needed the ore to make the sword? i got the quest from him BEFORE i picked up the ore (maybe you have to, don't know).
if you have a save prior to taking the ore, see if talking to the smith before taking it (the ore) will start the correct path. you could also try removing it from inventory prior to taking with him, but it sounds as though you've tried that.

are you trying the blacksmith at location 18 on hellfighter maps for he sword quest. I had the ore and after I got the quest from the Raanaar Relbel I went to him and in a few seconds he made me the sword.

Sure did use those maps and yes that is the smith I tried talking to, I have cleared out as much of the BF's as I can do, the 5-6th ones are still locked even though I have 5 Keys. I'll have to keep looking for the keys, There was a post a while back, I've searched here for it but can't seem to find it. Something about having to run around a lot to get the bf key that's in a chest.

vlad, BF dungeon6 key is in church catacombs...
but DON'T go down 'til you've finished EVERYTHING else as there's no way back (you CAN get to the BFs though).

AAhh ok, But what about the BF5 key Act 3? NO clue where that one is. I've looked over. I've gotten all of the keys on the maps from the site but I didn't see BF key 5 anywhere.

The Raanaar quests are not being added to the quest log properly. If you find the right rebel again you should be able to tell him the seeing stone is disabled.

i don't think there is one.
i just got TWO for act III BF dungeon4 without a 5.

I've tried talking to both, they just say stop bothering me and go do what I told you to do. Maybe not exact text but that's the gist of it. I'll keep hunting around see what i can find. I'll finish clearing out the 1-4 bf areas, then try it again, hopefully with success.

i've noticed something about the battlefield keys. if you get and activate one out of sequence, it unlocks all dungeon levels below the one the key is made for as well as that one.

For the wsord quest you need to talk to the Rebel Leader.

Where is he? He has disappeared from my game. I have the sword and I have the gem (dragon bane gem?). I can't do anything with it. I can talk to all the Raanaar rebels and both the Raanaar patrols but I can't find the leader any more. I finished all the Raanaar quests. I'm pretty sure I was given the sword quest, or the blacksmith wouldn't have made the sword for me.

How do I get the gem attached to the sowrd?

The Leader is called "Raanaar Elder". In my game he strolled out of the camp and went north to the Raanaar patrol.

Edit: Have you tried and looked around the cave? I found him there, too.

Gem/sword => you don't attach, you simply speak to the Elder.

Once I talk to him, the sword and gem disappear. Game says I acquired an item, but I don't know what. Can you tell me?

I had the impression that the gem and sword were to be used some time in the future, but where did they go? Does the Raanaar doll now have them?

You got a permanent constitution potion.

the Elder has the items now - everything is ok. The stuff only serves this purpose.
