I'm posting this in case it helps, I haven't seen anyone else posting about it, so it might not be a common issue. I'm not complaining, mainly asking.

I have a 16-inch 2021 MacBook Pro, M1 Pro chip, 16 GB RAM. The external monitor is a Dell U3821DW. Not a gaming setup, but who knew I'd be gaming on a MacBook when I bought it.

The graphics are significantly better on Retina than on the external monitor. Pixel density is much higher on Retina, and that plays a big role. The picture on Retina looks even better on the actual monitor than in the screenshots. But still, even in the screenshots Retina has more detail.

Looks like this forum doesn't support attachments, I had to upload to another site. There's a "Download original image" button. The full gallery is here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/yYNdhzL

The main comparison is TAA Anti aliasing on External monitor vs TAA on Retina. Look at the detail on hair, or on Gale's robe. And I guess my question is, is this it? Is that what I should expect, or it might get better?
