There is but one solution, a full round table of Majestic cats to ensure that the fur pals who have warmed their way into our hearts don't get left out in the cold here.
I will not digress overmuch comparing EA Scratch to Full Release Scratch. Or mentioning Special Enhanced editions of stuff, and what happens when you change the wrong thing after it's already got it's claws in (oh whoops I just did!!! Lol)
Once out in the world, you can't take away any cats, you can only add more cats!
And this rule should be extended to cover the other fuzz pals and more broadly to arenas of character visualizations across the board.
Larian has, shall we call it a track record now, of breaking the things which they are working on as a way to call attention to it (my theory). Then leaving the broken thing to hang around for far too long until it causes a mini uproar. (See Minthara's hair, now Raph's for instructive past examples.)
When they bust it, and then let us see that happen, this needs follow up. Needs to equate to some sort of new and more expansive system that is being worked on, which will make everything well again.
Here again, the fix is easy - 9 more cats are now required!
To make good on it, and the Hairless version to return in Cheshire fashion to put our minds at ease as we come to know and love a full new Dynasty of Feline friends!
Any takers? Of course there are!
