Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Poison skill - does it work for ranged attacks?

Just took poison skill (1 point to dmg + 1 pt to duration) for my main who uses bows and don't see poison ever taking effect. It just occurred to me that perhaps this is a melee only skill.

I think i tried out on death knight and that I saw it take effect at least on occassion. Can someone please clarify. Great game but I wish the skill descroptions were worth a damn.

Unfortunately no. But early on it makes a great addition for Melee type. It works well against against highlevel Boss types.

No, but I'd reccomend to put a green charm in your bow instead.

It worked for me for a long time. It seems to have stopped now.

It might have worked before the 1.43 or 1.44 patch, someone would have the check the patch notes.
