Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Suggestions Weapon sets.

This is actually a suggestion for the next patch, although I have no idea if it is possible and not an excess of work for Larian.

The suggestion is simply to add a weapon set like in Diablo: LoD. For example, Weapon Set 1 is sword and shield, were Weapon Set 2 is your ranged weapon.
Also a hotkey to switch between them would be most useful.

Anyone agrees?

I find pieces of sets in BD but they didnt seem to do anyting.

That definately would be ace, i played diablo tons, and on the net u heard of folk with sets of stuff that had unimaginable extra stats and stuff, wots the point of BD having sets if it does nothing when you collect it all-let down or what? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />

From what I heard on the forum, the different kind of sets was originally an idea of Larian, but they had to stop the project because of lack of time, and those pieces of sets now do nothing.

Quite sad, I would've liked a great set like the Dragon Armour in Divine Divinity...

He means a secondary weapon/shield slot that you could switch to by hitting a hotkey. Say you're in a fight and you're 2h slasher isn't doing any damage and you need to switch to an elemental sword or something, you could have one set as a secondary and just hit a key and it would equip your secondary weapon, then hit the key again to swap back to you're primary. This is an option in pretty much every hack and slash that's come out since D2, so it's strange this game doesn't have it. But you can pause and switch weapons at any time, so it's not really needed.

I know, but I was responding to OverlordChris, who talked about those sets ( IG, the different armour pieces ), I think..
The initial poster didn't talk about those sets ( IG, the different armour pieces ), but about the sets ( switching from set 2hand-weapon to set 1hand weapon ),I know that.

That's the sets I meant but I do not like to pause the game. Takes away all the action for me.

I liked all the sets there where but there should be more like: a dragon set, imp set, orc set, shadow set, ancient raanar set(unless there are some raanar coming to "Rivellon" to talk/congratulate or for maybe a quest- then just a raanar set), bone set, **fire set, water set, air set, earth set,** (the lest four sets are for like mages!!! they increase the magical damage and also increases resistance to 150%-200% resisatance [(only with full set)and(200% means you not only stop the attack but absorb the damage to life)] wouldn't these sets just be amazing

P.S. i forgot about 2 things the lizard set yayayaya and also "Xaishi" you have an amazing picture for you profile i love it!!!!!
