Any way to skip the launcher on the Mac version. Tried --skip-launcher command line option in steam and it still shows the launcher, though this worked on Windows.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I'm looking for the same thing. Going into the executable (right click .app -> "Show Package Contents") and launching it from there includes the launcher. I can't seem to find a way to just start the game. I suspect it is causing issues with streaming the game to another device.

Thats why I wanted to skip it. Trying to remote play from Steam to my TV... Video is fine but sound isn't working, and the unlike geforce now, the controller isn't working with the launcher window.

I can airplay it by mirroring my desktop to my Apple TV and thankfully my bluetooth controller connects to my PC from a distance for control but using the steamlink app would be preferrable.

This breaks Steam Deck streaming from my Mac to the Deck. Would love to figure out how to skip the launcher on macOS.

You are probably on the right track. I don't play on mac but I know this approach works for other applications. I'd go digging around in some of those folders and find the game executable, check Resources folder.

I have the same issue. I dug around in the app bundle, and I can't find anything in there. `strings` on the binary doesn't reveal a `--skip-launcher` option that I've seen documented on Windows, and launching it with `--help` manually in a terminal doesn't do anything.

Anyone else have any luck here?

I too desire to find a way to enable steam link, either by disabling the launcher or by some other means that gets it to work.
