Can’t jump with PS5 Controller on PC

I have a new Edge controller paired to my pC. I press Up on the D-Pad and place the Jump target. Press X to jump and nothing happens. Now it has a little diamond symbol and the words Per Turn but I’m not in turn mode. Anyone running into this?
