First of all, before I dive into my ideas for Baldur's Gate 3, I just wanted to shout my praises to Larian for creating such an incredible experience, and for being so open to feedback and suggestions - you truly show us what GOOD development teams should be. Thank you for everything.

Onto my thoughts, I had a couple ideas rumbling around, all having to do with inventory organization. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, having so many items at your disposal, and I imagine people new to the genre can get a little lost and forget what wares they have depending on where they're stashed. So! My ideas are as follows:

Pouch/Backback Coloring and Naming
For the hyper-organized thief such as myself, I like to know what bags contain what so I can easily use them on the fly. I think being able to rename your held pouches and backpacks would be a huge improvement, and being able to dye them would be heavenly. Imagine - you have your black burlap sack for throwing items, a red backpack for potions, etc. Having them labeled so you can read, for example, 'Bag of Bombs' or 'Pouch of Potions' rather than simply 'Pouch' or 'Burlap Sack' when you hover over them, really would add to your organizational abilities, and make for a much cleaner Hotbar that most would be jealous of.

Vanity Slots
Sometimes, you just find a certain look when you're playing through that you fall in love with - then some better armor comes your way. Then, the internal argument ensues. Do you want the better stats and abilities, or do you just.. want to look like the menacing assassin you've worked so hard to build? I think a secondary slot in your inventory next to your armor, simply dubbed a Vanity Slot, would be incredible. I wouldn't even mind if you still had to bear the weight of all the armor you want to wear for stats as well as looks, personally. As long as I get to look like the character I've dreamed of while bearing the amazing abilities that makes them who they are? Incredible. A fantastic example of this can be found in Horizon: Forbidden West, if a little inspiration is what you need! Having camp clothes you can display instead of armor was a great first step - lets take it further!

Hiding or Hooded Cloaks
Very simply put, I'm a bit scarred from the Incredibles movies. I know that my cape won't catch on turbines anytime soon, but hey, that fear is very valid. Cloaks look cool - but aren't for everyone. Having them hideable like helmets could be neat! We could just tuck them into the back of our armor. Even better, a hooded option could be fun too, though I could see them clashing with helmets if both are visible. Still! Rogues like myself prefer not to be visible in the facial region, and leather helmets look a bit silly on a big head like mine.

Thank you all again for your incredible work on BG3! I can't wait to see how it goes, and sincerely hope more content comes! If anyone has anything to tack on as well, feel free. We're all in this together! Just.. mind your pockets. A rogue's fingers often wander.

As an incredibly OCD player, I spend countless hours organizing my inventory, and I couldn't agree more with every word in this post.

Even just the renaming of pouches / backpacks would be game-changing for me.
