i read some old posts about skills and realized that the lockpicking skill is not a big deal anymore? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />
is that true? or not?

and if true, whats that mean?
1. In <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> there are no more locked chest, cupboards usw.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />
2. In <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> every chest has a key and you can easily find them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

It was a big fun in Divine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> throwing locked chest from the door out and carrying them away from his owner and looting them! Unnoticed.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

so again if true are there really unnecessary other skills like this?

Lockpicking doesn't work in BD - waste of skill points. You need to find the keys.

Reality is for those who cannot cope with fantasy. Fortunately, I can cope quite well.

clean meat from thoots after dinner <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

It is a bug in the game - the skill does not do what it is suppose to do.

Most locked chests/doors have keys, that are usually fairly easy to find. There are a few that can not be opened, but they do not contain anything essential.
