I play an origin character in multiplayer, and in recent patches hosts have been able to remove custom characters to put in the closet, so can I be removed as an origin character? (Because I want a romance with the origin character I play)

No, origin characters cannot be put in the wardrobe. Once you've selected an origin character to play, I'm pretty sure you're locked out of romancing that character. You'd have to start a new campaign and play as someone else.
