I'm guessing that there is quite a bit of crossover between those of us who love BG3 and those of us who also play D&D in real life, and are therefore DESPERATE for miniatures of the origin/companion characters. And of course some of the more major enemies/NPCs. And I don't mean finding miniatures that you can mod or force into being "close enough". I mean, miniatures that you'd look at an be like, "That's Karlach. That's Shadowheart. WITHERS?! What are you doing here?!"

Personally, I subscribe to Loot Studios and I think that they would do an AMAZING job putting together a collection of our heroes in some incredible and dynamic poses! If you could have a miniature studio produce a set of BG3 figures, which would it be?

It's a weird one, but I'd probably sponsor Heroforge to put in a bunch of parts that would let us make the origin characters. I own a couple of their old plastic type minis, and I've seen in person their new colour printed minis, and they are certainly impressive.

I am surprised you cannot find them yet for 3D printing.

Yeah, Hero Forge is great at customization, but I find the level of actual detail, not only in the gear but also the faces/bodies, way too cartoonish for my tastes. Other miniatures options, like Loot Studios or Flesh of the Gods may not have customization, but they more than make up for that in the detail and care put into the models by the sculptors.

Hi! I know you wanted specific reproductions of the companions and NPC's in this game, and I have some suggestions. First, I have a prepainted plastic Minsc miniature (with Boo on his shoulder). You can google "Wizkids, Icons of the Realms Minsc".

I have some miniatures from both the WotC miniature line (2003-2011) and from Wizkids (2012 - current) which are very good proxies for Laezel, Gale, Zevlor or Minthara. Unfortunately, I haven't found a good proxy for Shadowheart, Wyll, Jaheira or Halsin. `

I don't have much time to paint [Linked Image from media.miniaturemarket.com]nowadays, and these miniatures were good enough for me. For someone skilled, I'm sure they'd provide a solid basis and they could always re-paint specific details.
