Wondering if anyone else has had this bug and/or knows any potential fixes.
My partner and I have been playing a multiplayer game. My PC is the host and her PC is player 2, during act 3 we have found that her PC will freeze during the loading screen when trying to join the game if her character is not in camp. If her character is in camp when she joins it will load her into the camp, but then freeze on the loading screen when she leaves camp. All while my host PC has had no issues. We have had no issues at all throughout the rest of the game up until we entered the Lower City the trouble began with the PC freezing after about 2 hours in the lower city.
We have tried turning her PC off an on again, and even uninstall and reinstalling BG3 (this helped for a while but then crashed again after about 2 hours play). We have also tried lowering the video settings for her.
Her PC has another single player save which is in act 3 in the same area as our coop playthrough and does not crash (although takes it's time to render out the environment). So I wonder if this is something to do with multiplayer specifically or could this come from needing to upgrade some of her PCs hardware eg graphics card?
