Not related to blood covered characters. I've found it impossible to access some specific color tones based on how they're set-up not just in vanilla but also any hair color mod I've come across so far providing more hair colors in these tone families. It's like There are strong red streaks in almost any hair color with a warm base color. Adding highlights and graying will not cover up these red streaks, either, making them impossible to get rid of.
See below the "orange" vanilla hair. Because of the red streaks, it appears much closer to the color red than the vermilion orange I think the color code used is intended to be.

Here's the darkest shade of "ginger," the red streaks even more apparent and betraying the purpose of the otherwise very natural hue of hair.

And the golden brown, or something to that effect, I can't recall if it's specifically referred to as gold brown or something else, but the same red streaks despite this color being a lot more on the olive hue of browns being outright contrasting to the included red streaks.

As a last example from the base hair colors here's the game's default brown. Why is brown of all colors with a red streak? Auburn already has two sensible options in the way of the more purple and more red tones below this row of brown, so why are there forced red streaks in what is arguably the most common of hair colors? It makes it impossible to use shades of what is supposed to be a neutral brown to add your own preferred highlights and grays on top, too. Other color families do not come with a contrasting, unchangeable streak like this. Please remove it. I didn't even provide examples of every hair color with this red streak, either. The strawberry blondes and possibly some others have it, too. It makes the very strong affects the in-game lighting has on hair color even more difficult to work with when trying to achieve a specific look.

To further hammer in my points, here's one of the darkest browns used as a highlight color on black hair. It has even less of the intended brown included than the overbearing and uncalled for red streaks.

An example of it showing up in the orange color while applying greying.

And an example of how it shows up in the beards and eyebrows of otherwise natural ginger hair options.

So, in-game, despite trying very hard to avoid the additional literal red tones, the red shines through the orange colors no matter what. (left, Tav) It is better hidden on softer hues of red like Lae'zel's, and I realize her hair color may be very intentionally reddish in the literal sense, but that still we're still limited to only having literally reddish hair as opposed to ever achieving a more natural, orangey hue. Dependent on the lighting, your otherwise natural looking red hair can turn a super fiery unnatural red because of these red streaks.?

Speaking of unnatural, there are NPCs with this rancid, manic panic level of reddish-orange hair. I can only assume this is especially so because of the annoying red streaks. His hair is fire red, but his beard is a natural ginger... It looks like a mistake.

So basically, could the people responsible for hair colors at Larian correctly modify all the warm-toned hair options ranging from strawberry, ginger, orange, brown, and golden,? etc. to replace the red streaks with more of correctly matching hues like the rest of the hair colors do? We can add in red streaks ourselves with highlights or graying, but forcing them upon us like this is really messing up my hair color goals... It's also worth noting that it's possible the hair materials themselves have snuck in these red streaks, because an experienced modder explained to me the highlights for example only use HTML to define the color so how they're turning out multi-tonal is confusing and hard to fix on the modding side.
