When I try to log into my larian account from the steam portal it lets me enter my credentials but says please wait after I hit enter and instantly stops, I’ve tried everything even creating a new account from the portal but it does the same thing, please tell me I’m not the only one with this issue any help is appreciated I just wanna sync from my ps5 to my pc but can’t even log into my account

I am having the same issue (cannot log in, and the "please wait"message shows for a very brief time) with the Larian launcher when starting the game from GOG.

I already verified the installation files and reset the launcher data.

This happened after installing the game on a different PC, and starting the game for the first time.

For reference, I do not have any Mac or PS5 save files to link to, though I do have the PSN account connected to my Larian account.

I can report the same issue from GOG as well. I just did a fresh install of Windows. Now I cannot seem to login thru the Larian Launcher. Behavior is as described. I enter my credentials, press the "login" button, then get a brief "please wait" message, followed by nothing.

Same issue here, just finied a new PC build on Win11, can't log in on Larian through Steam as once entered the credentials the "pelase wait" vanishes without any result.

How to fix?

Issue still persists through today, haven't had any updates on tickets I have put in hopefully it is fixed soon, really want to play the game on my synced profile.

Sam problem here too, I reset everything as my game crashes with a Directx error every time , now I can't even login, fortunately you can skip this, I presume it see's Steam name. Game is unplaybable though because of DirectX missing device error.

Well same thing here. Upgrade SSD yesterday and loaded all new windows etc and I can' log in through steam. I can get to my account on Larian site, so I know my cred are correct. I'm tempted to swap back to old SSD and see if I can log in. Sad when have few days of downtime and can't play.

+1. Game crashed my computer yesterday (first time, and in an area I had already explored, dunno if patch 3 had something to do with that). On reboot I was logged out of my Larian account and the launcher refused to log me in. Same thing today.

TL;DR: Serverside communication settings for the URLs between launcher and backend API is incorrect, hence no login possible. Not fixable playerside, only through Larian.
