Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Stuck outside wall- is this a known bug?

Hi, just bought this game today. Looks promising, applied the latest patch and played for about 10-15 minutes. I went down a hole, then came back up after a very short stint down there.

I got into a battle and suddenly found myself outside the map. I can walk any where around the map I want, but can't get into the actual halls or rooms. Basically I'm stuck and will start over.

So is this a known problem? Is there a fix, like a console teleport? Is this one of those games you need to save every 5 minutes due to problems like this?

Well, I'll try it out again, hope this was a chance problem and not a sign of what is to come.

Any advice on this is appreciated. Like I said, I just bought this so this is my first trip to the forum. Please excuse me if ths was asked already.

Sadly, I've had one of my characters get stuck in a wall more than once regardless of the patch version. This bug has never been fixed. However, if either you or the DK are not stuck in the wall, have them leave that level, and then magically both of your characters will appear on the other level. It beats reloading, especially if you haven't saved your game in awhile.

Thank you, I didn't think of having the DK go back to another area. I made a mage, and I can cast through the walls. That should get me through the immediate situations, then I can try that trick out....Though hopefully I won't need it.

I had it too. Just hopping out to the battlegrounds and then back fixed me up nicely.
