Hello everyone,

I actually just accidentally took a potion from Ethel (hag) due to a hectic misclick. The debuff is called “broken promise”.
It says in the description that it is a permanent debuff. But is there really no way, a path or a goddess that can cure me of this?
I am really sad about this wyllcry

How about letting yourself be killed and revived? Reincarnation can solve many problems.

Have you tried Remove Curse from Shadowheart?

I can only use Remove Curse on Creatures or Items... somehow, so that didn't work.
But i did not try to get killed. I have to wait for the next fight to try this i think.

Yes, some of those potions are permanent. Be careful with a lot of stuff, you find in her lair. That amulet, she has with her, is cursed as far as I remember for example.

From what I've found on the web, letting your character get killed and then reviving them (with scroll or Withers) gets rid of the debuff.

Greater Restoration and Remove Curse do NOT work.

Isn't possible to commit suicide? That wouldn't interrupt your next fight. Swallow a bottle of poison and go sit in a puddle of acid, something like that.

Remove the curse should get rid of it... and if fails just have Lae'zel beat the snot out of you till you're a limp mangled corpse, then revive by Wither.
