I have had an incredible time playing BG3. I enjoy turn based games and RPGs. I currently play on Ps5 and have had little to no issues. I don't have much feedback. My only feedback is that I wanted Karlach to have a happier ending. The ending is vastly improved from the original, but it just still doesn't feel right for me. It doesn't feel right taking her back to Avernus. The one place she absolutely does not want to return to. Karlach is easily my favorite companion. Seeing her get star struck by Jaheira in act 2 was adorable. Her bubbly and bright personality shines amongst all other companions. She's a strong female character who wants to help people, and take down the evils that want to do others harm. A strong, female, barbarian with a heart bigger than the planet. My character was a folk hero paladin so her and I got along like bread and butter. I kept Karlach in my party the entire game. Her reaction to different situations fit how I felt every time. When she made comments about killing the devil Raphael, it was just too perfect. Seeing Karlach wanting Mol to make the right choice was heart warming. Because I wanted to kill that devil too. And I also wanted Mol to refuse Raphael. She's genuinely a likeable character with incredible potential. The voice actress did an outstanding job and I cannot praise this character enough.

I completely agree with you and think we should speak as loud as possible to attract attention.
Only together we, players, have a chance to make Larian studios hear us and give Karlach a TRUE deserving ending, not this ugly trash with suicidal descent into Avernus.

I might be in minority, but I disagree.

Outside of her tragic trajectory Karlach is a character without much substence - she is a character for whom choices were made, and what she experienced seemingly didn't have much impact on her. It is only when she defeats Gortash and lets it all out, that she finally gets to shine as a character. She is a character who doesn't let bad things she experienced get to her, and I think she would be made poorer if her tragedy was resolved. From the mess that is the ending, Karlach embracing the last, final sacrifice is probably the best beat this game had when it comes to companions. OF COURSE, after all that Karlach would be the one to become tentacle monster and sacrifice whatever she has left to save others.

That Karlach makes good choices, and cares for others in spite of being doomed herself - that is what makes her a truly good character. I just wish game would explore it more indepth earlier - it felt like Karlach was barely there until late into act3.

If there was an option for her to be saved - I think it would need to come at a great cost. Like Karlach selling her values out - I don't know, like send Tieflings to hell to slave under Zariel in exchenge for her life.

Totally agree !! I just finished act 2 and unfortunetely, I didn't find quickly enough the only one guy who can fix her heart, everyone died at the inn but it's when I looked at my quests journal that I realised it was over, I have no chance to fix Karlach's engine anymore. At the end of act 2, I didn't want to lose so much hours and go back before the inn attack. But I feel really sad for this amazing character, it could be so nice for the gameplay to have one last chance to find someone who knows that infernal engine stuffs in act 3... Fingers crossed. Don't let Karlach down, Larian, we love her so much. smile

The Forgotten Realms setting allows save Karlach without pointless tieflings sacrifice or something like that. Just use a Resurrection spell.
