Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Bad Save

Hey everyone,

I have saved a game in a dungeon, and now when I load said game it loads my character outside the dungeon parameters in the black unused portion of the screen, is there any way to save this, or am i forced to use an old save which i am sad to say is quite a ways back? Thanks for any help.

Stand as close to the wall as you can get, save and re-load. Also, you may be able to find a gap in the wall to get back trough.

Otherwise; Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor

Do you have one or both teleporter stones, or is this Iona's dungeon you are talking about? If you do have them, a more elaborate way to get out (but which does not require a hex editor) is described in;

Im in the Orc dungeon doing the supply train quest - The teleport stones arent working, everytime I try them my character says " Hmm these seem not to work", I'll give the other Ideas a try - thanks for the help.

WOW, going close to another wall away from where I was and saving fixed the prob!! THANX - and now I know to use more than one save, thanks again! After browsing the forum I see that you have helped a bunch of ppl out. Thanks for spending your time giving so much helpful advice.
