Hello all I am stuck again, I downloaded the walkthrough to help a little and well one bit I know is the walkthrough says you can get a bedroll from a chest, with a key found (very vauge) and well really would like this bed roll but cannot find the key to the chest and so forth cannot open chest. I am at lvl 5 lockpick have opened heaps of doors but this chest, umm..can anyone help please <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

unless it has a key you won't be able to. lockpick skill doesn't work.
sorry about the bad news, but hopefully that will get fixed.
not sure why it doesn't work, but i had it bumped up to 10 and wasn't able to open any chests or doors. there are some chests in act 1, in the soldiers barracks that cannot be opened at all as well as a door to the bathroom that cannot be opened either. sadly you will want, as soon as you have enough money, and i believe you should soon enough, to unlearn the lockpick and devote the points to other skills that will work.

The key for the chest is actually in the same room (I believe, from memory here...). Just use your alt key in that room and probably the key will show up. I thought it was underneath a pillow.

The walkthrough says to enter "...a room with 2 beds. Find a key and open a chest to get a bedroll" Sorry if this is vague, it is a very tiny room and you should be able to find the key quite easily there.

Actually I never did use the bedroll, just carried it around in my inventory for the whole game.

actually in the barracks there is a door right next to the kitchen with some soldier in it..i cant find the key, nor can i open the door with lockpick (i tried it too)..somebody found the key???

and again in the barracks far southwest is a hatch leading to a torture dungeon..there is a locked chest too...couldnt find the key anywhere!

again in the barrack mercenaries room there are 2 locked chest, no key around and in one of the soldiers private rooms where you first entry the barracks another locked chest without key..

maaannn i hate leaving locked chest around, i decided to carry them with me for further patches but they weight 525..:(((..so i leave them there... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

The key for the locked chest under the hatch is in the parcours (in the drill grounds), though there is likely not much of value in the chest.

The locked chests in the recruits' room will remain unopenable until lockpick is fixed.
