In the north end of the burned out forest east of the Imp Village there is a triangular teleport on the ground that takes you over to an island. The clip shows how the teleport rotates momentarily to take you to another close-by island and then rotates again to return. Well, that's all well and good but I cannot activate it fast enough to get to the second island and I doubt that is the trick--but I don't know what the trick is--clues please?? I cannot separate the party so that one might help the other unless I have to move one even further away but I don't knw how that would help since they both would have to step on the teleport at the same time.

My Odd Looking Gem numbers have dropped to 4 now. Why are they disappearing??

Thanks.

try your teleporter stones....

and look at the arrow on the stones(metal tips) They point to the place the teleporter is going to transport.

xd

Yes...I got that part and I can teleport on them to the first island too...and I can see the blue arrow rotate and that's how you get to the second island...but I can figure out how to time the second teleport BEFORE the darn pointer returns to point to the mainland--so I just keep hoping back and forth and can't get to the second island!

These Odd Looking Gems when you click on one say they are "surprisingly warm... like a small fire burning in your hands".

Oh, maybe what you are trying to tell me is that I need to find the actual teleport stones (pyramids) before I can get to this second island. I haven't found these yet.

There is a Meteorite though?? Maybe I need to place one of these warm Odd Looking Gems in it?

Thanks.

Hi!

When you first come across those gems you should have seen a brief cut scene that showed one turning into a fire elemental. I'm not sure what the trick is but as I wandered around with them in my inventory they eventually do just that, turn into fire elementals...perhaps when I walked close to the flames from the ground this triggers the change? Anyway, that accounts for them 'disappering' from your inventory.

Excellent. It looks like that cutscene was to short for me to figure out. Anyway, it is a great explanation. I think it might only work around the fires where you find the gems though as I dropped one by a different flame area and nothing happened nor have any disappeared from my inventory in a long time now--still have 4 left. Maybe I'll go back to the original area and see if I can kill-off the last of 'em.

Now you tell me. Well, I have largely finished the forest areas to the east and the spider areas to the north of the imp village. Nothing south or west yet.

Those are the 2 hardest areas. North west is easiest, and then south west; both should be a cakewalk now.

For the teleporters that are near the metorite, when you click on the first it takes you to the second one where you I double clicked to get to the third one.
