Okay, I've got Wavestinger, Mudstinger, and Cloudstinger. They don't say what kind of sword (piercing or slashing) nor one or two-handed. They don't mention damage either--seem to be good for resistances somehow. But they have a pretty good price tag of 7 to 9 thousand gold. Please explain?

I got some Holy Water too but can't do anything with it because I need some degree of skill I have gotten.

I'll save this stuff for awhile at least so long as I can fit it all into my Golden Jug. Can't sell 'em cause no one has that much money.

Thanks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

The stinger weapons are 1H weapons that do elemental damage (pe cloud does air damage). You can sharpen them if you want. However you can't train your accuracy,... for these weapons.
They are useful at times if an enemy has really low resistances for one particular element. I used to give them to my A3 summoning doll to take out the elementals (they have -87 resistance to their opposite element: fire<->water, earth<->air).

If you get lvl 4 alchemy extract you can make permanent potions with holy water so it's definitely worth it hanging on to it.

With the patch installed, you can enter the battlefield repeatedly to sell off any loot you do not want.

additionally, the elemental stinger swords only weigh 5 apiece, which makes them really valuable.

ie: great for opposite element damaging, or for those that have weak elemental resistance, they weigh very little, and they can be sharpened.

while they cannot be improved upon with a melee skill (one handed, 2 handed or with shield), the other items do make up for it.

good combo: weaken an elemental resistance using an elemental curse type, then hammer them with the appropriate sword.
