Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Just got the game, couple of comments & questions

I just purchased this game earlier today and would like to say thank you to Larian Studios for a good game (from what I've played so far) and for having a playable demo! Many companies seem to not do demo's anymore, and it sold you a game here. I really enjoy the gameplay and the rpg elements have been enjoyable as well (and I like having the choice to participate as much as I want).

As for my question I'm playing a warrior, and I purchased the Assassin's Kiss skill. Does this only work if you are hiding/invisible, or does it give you a flat 10% chance per strike to do a 'backstab'? I thought it would be a good skill doubling the already potent damage of the warrior, but I haven't seemed to notice much difference.

I didn't take that skill but from what I understand you must have a weapon that says it can be used with Assassin's Kiss - normally it's a dagger.

Good luck! Part of the fun is making the 'mistakes' and getting a truly unique character. There's some pretty weird skills available. You'll also be able to 'buy' some of the more common skills later in the game ...
