My game (on PS5) freezes when I try to sort my inventory (type, weight, etc) while in the camp chest. It crashes on my main Tav in act 3 but not on my younger Tavs still in act 1. I noticed it happening sometimes in act 2, but now it's every time in act 3. I have to close and restart the game.

It doesn't happen when trading and using filter mode. It doesn't happen when i'm in just Tav's shared inventory with the group.

I've reinstalled the game and synced my save files from the Larian cloud but still experience the same problem.

I've significantly reduced my inventory (item count) but still have the issue.

I've seen threads on other websites of people with the same issue but I don't know if it's been posted here yet.

Well it just froze on a younger Tav in act 1. Perhaps it's related to the multiple camp chest bug? Had 2, but after the wipe and reload I've got 3.

Heya! Does your sort function work properly at Shops? I'm on PC, but figured it'd be the same....everyone I know on PC can't sort at shops properly, it kind of works...half properly lol.

Sort to equipment always just shows......torches.

It's the same on PS5: Filters at shops are nonsensical.

The more impactful issue is that sorting and managing inventory gets gradually slower as you progress through the game (and hoard more stuff) to the point where you can crash the game: Especially sorting at the camp chest (probably because it's attempting to sort the chest and your party inventory at the same time).

As of yet no issues with vendors/shops nor personal/group inventory. Though it did lag when I had a large number of items I was getting rid of to try and fix the issue, so I guess it came close.

I now save my game before I access my camp chest in case something happens.

So just to clarify, when you sort at a shop (in either barter or sell), when you press "Equipment" as a sort option to sell, it narrows your inventory down to more than just torches?

If you don't mind me asking, are you PC or PS5? I just had another mate of mine confirm it's not working in shops for him, so have a good number of confirms across PC and PS5, but you may have thrown my universal bug theory out the window haha.

After some long sessions and lots of sorting I have experienced the bug of blank spots or wrong images for items when sorting. I was attributing that to some sort of memory leak cause that issue would fix itself after restarting the game. Otherwise, sorting/filtering in shop works just fine. I don't mind a memory leak, that won't crash my game.

No, no crashes have occurred in any shop yet but now i've probably jinxed myself.

I'm having the same issue on pc (steamdeck, specifically). I can sort inventory just fine in every situation _except_ when my Traveller's Chest is open. If I try to sort then, it just freezes up the whole game and I have to hard shut it down. It wasn't a problem before the latest patch, and inventory quantity hasn't made a difference, as it happened when I emptied all but a few items.

I'll be submitting an actual report, but wanted to post to let you know it isn't just console sadly.

Before the last patch (3) it only happened a couple of times. After the patch it happens EVERY time.

This still happens. Bump. Rebooting/Saving seems to alleviate the problem. It's intermittent. But, it's not rare or uncommon at all. Play around a bit sending everything to your camp chest. Then go to camp and don't save. Just go straight to your travelers chest, hit R1 to show your bags, and hit L3 on the PS5 and arrow left and right to sort from and then to Type. It'll freeze.

There's been a couple patches now that reference inventory but neither have fixed the issue.
