I was hoping all the Collector's Edition Owners could lend a hand and list the following info regarding their CE:

- # on Certificate of Authenticity
- What platform (PC or PS5)
- Date of delivery
- General geographical area where you live

I'm trying to figure out how the 25,000 Collector's Editions were numbered, how many were made for each platform and how they were distributed. I've asked Larian Support, but I think they aren't wanting to share these statistics.

I have 2 hypotheses;

1. The lower numbered certificates are PC CEs, while the higher numbered certificates are PS5 CEs (0-18,032 = PC, 18,033-25,000 = PS5)

2. The lower numbered PC certificates were distributed in the East continents, while the higher numbered certificates were sent to North/South America.

Here is my info:

PC: Hasn't arrived yet, will list by next week
PS5: 19078
PS5: 19733
PS5 CEs delivered on Sept 29 2023
Location: Canada

I still haven't recieved a notification it's even shipped yet. I know of three people on this forum that have so far recieved one (except now you, who has three of them coming for some reason?), and one of those was over a month ago (somehow, randomly?) so it may be some time before data like this starts coming in.

Out of curiosity, what does it matter? Just a collector thing?

To answer your questions; I thought I would create the first "What # is your cert?“ thread to try and gather this info in one place before everyone starts receiving their CE.

As for the reason I have three Collector's Editions; my collection consists entirely of Baldur's Gate items and memorabilia. I want to add a PC/PS5 CE into the collection, then I purchased one more PS5 CE to use and enjoy.

I'm more curious than anything, so I guess you could say it's just a collector thing, haha.

I know, waiting is hard, but it's worth. The CE is really beautiful. I really love the statue, because I'm playing a drow (rogue/arcane trickster) and I'm playing an astral elf ranger with white hair in my regular Spelljammer group with my friends and so this statue reminded me of him, because he is also fighting mind flayers - they are his arch enemies. I also love the artbook! I like to draw and I'm interested into creating characters, so this artbook was perfect for me.

Question for everyone; is the number on your certificate the same number on the side of the shipping box, where it has a number X/18032?

First, I noticed I made a mistake in the initial post that I can no longer edit. One of my PS5 CEs says 19733, it should be 19773.

Second, the X/18032 number has no correlation to the Certificate of Authenticity in the CE. As seen above, I received shipping box # 15086/18032 which had Cert # 13457 inside.

We know at least 18032 PC CEs were made and at least 1000 PS5 CEs were made, judging from the shipping box #'s (PC = X/18032 and PS5 = X/1000). After that, only Larian knows.

I was really hoping for a lower PC CE # to go with my sealed BG II: Shadows of Amn Collector's Edition (02827/62000), but really just glad to finally have it!

FYI, if anyone has cert #2827 and aren't attached to it, shoot me a message and see if we can set up a trade/deal!
