First off,
Thank you Larian for making an amazing game that I've been playing obsessively - I rarely find a game that can hold my attention for 300+ hours total, never mind achieving that in less than 2 months!
One of the biggest irks that I've experienced with the game, however, is the lack of maneuverability in an efficient manner to switch out party members and manage everyone's inventories. I would love the option of accessing everyone's characters so I can easily switch characters that are actively in my party and items between companions, with the added bonus of being able to see everyone's approval ratings at the same time - that would be a dream!
I know you're still working like crazy improving and patching the game, but I would honestly love to see this implemented!

Gods I hate it too, maybe adding a scrolling panel on the right side showing the rest of the party members when at camp to keep clear who's in your active party while organizing inventory. Or giving us a "group recruit" option like in Dragon Age when leaving camp and a "dismiss all companions" to make it quicker. I hate having to run back and forth all over camp collecting and dismissing companions to figure out who has what and who needs to be upgraded with better gear.

I agree with this. when in camp, the player should have access to all party members and their inventories, regardless of if they are 'current' party members or not. I shouldn't have to remove a party member, add another one, and then do whatever I need, only to have to do that again to get back into the game. just let the player access everyone while in camp. This goes for leveling up as well.

I know some people prefer to only play with their chosen party members throughout the campaign and probably wouldn't want to spend time leveling characters they don't use.

I've said the same in the shared stash threads, I can't for the love of god understand why we don't have access to the inventory of everyone in camp. Other games do this, the technology is there so it's not rocket science.
Game is great, but the talk to guy answer 2 times to dismiss talk to other guy answer 1 time to confirm join just to check gear or inventory.. really, what year is this? I can't I compare if this sword i just got is better than the one Karlach is using without the need to have her in party? And their bags now too.
But a friend of mine told me (I haven't played divinity 1/2) that inventory management was allways cumbersome and the weakest link in their games.. So I really hope they're getting our feedback and present us with a solution for this. Haven't played the game since patch 3, and won't until at least the shared stash is fixed.

This should definitely be a thing. It's incredibly annoying to have to swap out characters to get something you forgot to take off them when you changed them out for another companion...especially when you haven't used them for a very long time and you end up having to go through several characters to find the item you're looking for.

Definitely! I liked the system in Dragon Age Inquisition where while at Skyhold you had access to all your companions inventories and could level them up without putting them into your party.
Currently my strategy is to immediately send everything that is not equipped by my active party members to camp, and everytime I switch out a party member they go to travellers chest to stock up before leaving camp. But it's still difficult to remember, especially if you have someone you take with you rarely, that a whole act ago you send that cool staff to camp that this character would really like.
Also also in terms of inventory, an autostack container for all items marked as wares would be lovely.
