Here's my optimized party for Tactician mode. It's mostly based off of videos from "crpg bro" and and "rage gaming videos", but I put it in the form of a simple writeup. Feel free to leave any feedback!

P.S. There's also a lot of hyperlinks for more information on gear and a list of all permanent buffs in the game broken down by act.

Why would a "dummy" be playing on tactician mode? I know the game does not really feature difficult combat, but I would not expect those new to D&D to try the hardest mode first.

Idk man why do they sell “quantum physics for dummies”? It’s a popular term for a distilled and easily digestible guide suitable for even beginners to the topic but that’s not quite as catchy. Not everything needs to be offensive. And the party still works in the easier modes.

Why, that would be an interesting challenge, making a party that "works" for tactician but not for the easier modes.

I dont think thats possible.
