Okay, before someone jumps me and says you don't need high charisma to play the game, yes, I know. Does it make it fun? Also no.

For example, Druids can use nature to convince Kagha to spare Arabella. However, you still must roll persuassion instead of Intelligence or nature.

Barbarians also have to do the same thing, even though they tend to dump charisms they still roll with advantage, so there is that. Others classess have got no such luck. After my first playthrough as Moon Druid with +3 charisma and trying out a bard, I can never play a class with low charisma.

Why? Because you lose so damn much.

Laezel or Shadowheart can die in Act 2 due to artifact if you don’t convince them.

You can permanently lose companions, quests or rewards like saving Mizora with Wyll and getting unique weapon.

One exception to that is for Dark Urge in an odd way, where you roll for stealth, but also add strength modifier.

Shouldn’t we have got more of those? A yelling Barbarian with +4 strength and -1 charisma with intimidation proficiency should get at least +5 to the check, due to being big, beefy and scary.
