Does anyone know what the maximum needed stats are to use any armor or weapon in the game? I want to stop spending points in strength as soon as it would be useless for wearing armor and/or wielding weapons. Actually on the weapon side it would be useful to know max stats for 1handed swords since I will not use any other class of weapon. I also do not want to have to use charms to boost the stats to my disired build. Thank you for your time.

strength 65 and agility 40 to wear plate armor
But then more strength let's you carry more loot and increases your damage more agility increases your chances to hit, and reduces your chances to be hit => increasing then is not wasted However, don't forget constitution and that you can increase anything with charms

Thank you for your help. Somewhere I thought I had read that I needed somewhere between 65 and 75 strength, but it is nice to know that 65 will get me all the strength I have to have. I am currently a lvl 19 Warrior (though my skill choices may prove otherwise) with 65 strength. I have 5 points saved right now, and I am happy to know that my agility can benefit from those points, and that I can now start pumping all my points in agility (my to hit is like 69%) and constitution (I have around 272HP).

272 HP is nothing - you'll need more, much more, eventually. Start charming up!

YOU DO NOT??? Try going to that bitch Josephin or whatever her name is with 300 HP and see if you live to regret it... With 300 HP you are as dead as any rat in the game...Charm up,it's not worth it to spend points on Constitution... Nick the Greek

its very simple not to get hit by her, i just took her out with scorpion traps and stood back and watched all the special effects and fireworks she gives off.
which leads me to my next question, she dropped a staff thats a quest item against the wall. i cant pick it up, ive heard about an "inventory trick" that would allow me to pick this up, but i cant find specifics on it. (i cant revert to a save because i tend to use quick saves and my last real save is way before this event).
i've seen armor that requires STR of 70, but none of it was better than the armor i'm wearing (which requires 65). i have tons of left over points and skills i havent even bothered with. the game is pretty much a walk in the park at this point.
