Woho!

Great game. Took me about a month before I got going though. Slow start, the dungeon business. Anyway.

OK, so I am not very skilled with using my mouse it seems. I can't help clicking a neutral critter now and then. Problem is, their ENTIRE *beep*ing species go nuts if you do that. Like I step on a frog in Argentina and get attacked by a frog army once I move to Ireland. Is there any way to make peace with critters accidentally attacked? Right now I am attacked by frogs, lava farters (or what they're called), tribars, hogs, you name it.

Would be pleased to know.

Cheers!

You will either have to reload a previous save (doesn't sound like an acceptable option in this case), or wait until the next act after accidentally attacking a friendly creature.

BTW, it is lava crawlers.

I'm glad starting a new Act resets things and clears the quest log.

The way to prevent this may be more of a pain in the butt than just causing all the frogs to, er, croak. Go into peace mode each time before you move.

This is one of the weaker design decisions IMO.

Reality is for those who cannot cope with fantasy. Fortunately, I can cope quite well.

If you click on your mini-map in order to move, you can go anywhere without accidentally hitting the multiple "friendly" creatures. If you've previous been searching with your mouse for loot and you click in the mini-map, your characters will run off the main screen window. just hit "X" and the screen will home in on them as they move. Also, you can hit "X" first, then click on the part of the mini-map you want to go to and you'll track your characters as they move. Be careful you don't miss treasure! Hope this helps.

I just let my DK wander off killing the wildlife. I'll go afk a few mins and come back and all the critters in a pretty big radius will be dead. Think I've wiped out every last frog, cat, boar and everything else in act 2 now.

Don't like the cats being red tho. I like cats. The sound they make ingame when my DK crits them with his big sword is disturbing.

If you're in peace mode and clicking neutral NPC's doesn't allow you to attack, then that's a fine design. Granted I wouldn't want to switch out to peace all the time. But if it keeps me from declaring war on every creature...

I had the same, simple solution is run slowly though the whole map lure all frogs and what not together and use Lightning storm and they all go bye bye

//Inel.
