The DnD5e rules regarding warlock multiclasses is that you can use warlock spell slots and normal spell slots interchangeably, but you need to keep track of warlock slots separately because they recover on short rest. From my understanding, in BG3, you can use warlock slots for non-warlock things, but normal slots of the same level are prioritized first unless using a warlock spell. It should be the opposite. Because warlock slots regen on short rest, there is no scenario where you would want to use a normal slot first instead of a warlock slot.

Please either make it so that using slots at the tier of the warlock slots always uses them first, or put the warlock slots as an extra option so you can always choose to use the warlock slots.

its not fixed because its not busted... this is bg3 not DnD5e and thats not how warlock spells work in this game

I’m sure this was discussed in other threads too, and while it may be correct that it’s not a bug, personally I’d agree with the OP that in that case it would have been a better design if warlock slots had been prioritised.

As a not very attentive player I think that there are moments when the game asks me which sort of Spell Slot my Warlock/Something uses.
Although the non-Warlock Slots seem to be used up first.

I agree that making the different types of spell slots appear in different categories would make things less confusing and easier to manage your spell slots more efficiently.

Yes, unless things have changed since my last warlock multi-class (and from what Luckmann says they haven't), we can choose what level spellslot to use, so if our warlock spellslot level is currently higher than any spellslots we have from other classes we can choose to use warlock spellslots first just by choosing to cast a spell at that level. But when we have "normal" spellslots at the same level as our warlock spellslots the former always get used first and we can't pick. Though as the OP said, given there don't seem to be any circumstances in which it would be sensible to use the non-warlock spellslots first, we don't actually need to choose just reverse the default order.
