I made this thread because there are SO MANY discussions on people wanting more options for so many aspects of the game.
Gameplay, UI, difficulty game options are completely nonexistent in BG3. Apart from the ultra basics, nearly nothing can be customized. It is nearly identical to DOS2. Yet BG3 works with D&D 5th.

Older similar games have more options. Temple of elemental evil, Neverwinter nights, even Baldur's Gate.
Recent similar games have more options. Pathfinder Kingmaker, Pathfinder WOtr, Pillars of eternity, Deadfire, Baldur's Gate EE, Solasta etc...

Is this too much to ask for a highly detailed D&D computer game? So what Larian is basically saying for now is "if you want basic options, get a MOD?".

It just reminded me of the bowl of goat's milk that old Winthrop used to put outside his door every evening for the dust demons. He said the dust demons could never resist goat's milk, and that they would always drink themselves into a stupor and then be too tired to enter his room..
